I've had so much fun the last few weeks looking over my pregnancy blog with Kai that I've decided to do it all over again.
I found out I was pregnant on the 7th of September. We had been "trying" for a whole month. I'll never take for granted how easy that was since I know so many struggling. Of course, Chad thinks its his "man sperm."
This time around I'm much different. I guess I'm excited, but not nearly as much as I was with Kai. By excited, I don't mean being pregnant in general, I mean about the little things. Boobs, tired, etc....I notice them. I express them to Chad, but because of precious Kai I just don't have the time to dwell on them. Last time it was all so new.
Pregnancy #2 will be a completely different situation than it was with Kai...not for the obvious reasons. For one, I will hopefully not gain 60+ lbs. I'd like to keep my weight at around 35-40. I realize that is still on the high side for most people, but for me it sounds great. I'm also starting the pregnancy out at a much better fitness level (but funny enough, the exact same weight 135!).
Also, this time around, I'll be going natural! I'm hoping to have a VBAC using a midwife a birthing center. This is an entirely new concept to so many people (and even still to me) so I'll be focusing a lot on the why's and how's throughout.
And of course, the obvious, pregnancy while preparing child #1 for baby! YIKES!

Almost a year....really?
Well, its been almost a year since I have posted anything. Ooops.
I have to say its been a very very busy year. I'll recap someday when I feel up to it. Most of the reason I didn't blog was because either my DH was out of town or we all were. And, I don't know what kind of freaks are out there.
Chad spent the end of the year in Rochester, NY. By the time he got home, we were working hard with Kai in speech therapy, I was in school to teach and the holiday were right around the corner. We spent the beginning of the year living in Florida. I really wish I would have blogged during that time because it was all so interesting.
When we got home in February, I started subbing which severely (rightfully so) cut into my blogging/internet time. It also cut into my energy.
Now, I'm home....possibly for good. I haven't decided what to do. I finally have the option. So, we'll see....
One of the most important things to change over the last year is Kai's speech....which I think I'll put in another post so I can have it all together...alone....okay.
